CIXING Marks Topping-Out of New Intelligent Knitting Manufacturing Facility in Tongxiang

On September 12, Tongxiang Steriger Intelligent Robot Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ningbo CIXING Co., Ltd., successfully held the topping-out ceremony for the main structure of its new manufacturing facility in Puyuan, Tongxiang.

 

CIXING executives, representatives from the construction, supervision and design teams, as well as business partners gathered at the project site to witness this important milestone.

 

The completion of the main structure marks the project's transition into the next phase, including interior construction and equipment installation. It also represents another important step in CIXING's development of intelligent knitting technology, digital manufacturing and flexible production solutions.

 

 

Building a New Intelligent Knitting Manufacturing Base in Puyuan

 

Located in Puyuan Town, Tongxiang, Tongxiang Steriger Intelligent Robot Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on the research, development and manufacturing of intelligent knitting equipment and specialized robotic solutions, supporting the digital and intelligent transformation of Puyuan's knitting industry.

 

With a total investment of RMB 200 million, the project is planned as a production base with an annual capacity of:

  • 1,500 3D integrated sportswear flat knitting machines
  • 50 specialized flat knitting machines for medical applications
  • 500,000 pieces of functional knitted sportswear

 

Through this project, CIXING is further expanding its capabilities beyond conventional knitting equipment into higher-value applications such as sports knitting, functional knitwear and medical knitting, while strengthening the integration of intelligent equipment with advanced textile manufacturing.
 


 

A Milestone in Project Construction

The topping-out ceremony was held at the construction site, with CIXING Chairman Sun Pingfan, members of the company's management team, representatives from the general contractor, supervision and design companies, and other partners in attendance.

 

CIXING Chairman Sun Pingfan emphasized that the project is an important part of CIXING's continued investment in intelligent knitting equipment and technology-driven knitwear manufacturing. It is also expected to contribute to the transformation and upgrading of Puyuan's traditional knitting industry through advanced technology, intelligent manufacturing and closer integration across the industrial chain.

 

Following the speeches, company executives and guests jointly completed the final concrete pouring, officially marking the successful topping-out of the facility's main structure.

With the main structure now completed, the project will move forward into the stages of interior construction, equipment installation and subsequent production preparation.

 

Looking ahead, Tongxiang Steriger will continue to focus on intelligent knitting robotics, advanced knitting machinery and high-end manufacturing applications, accelerating technological innovation and the development of domestically developed knitting equipment.
