Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd.: Upholding the Spirit of Knitting, Driving Transformation Through Smart Manufacturing

 

Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd. traces its origins back to 1988, when the Jinxing Knitting Machinery Factory was founded in Taizhou. Since its establishment, the company has been dedicated to the research and manufacturing of hand-operated flat knitting machines and quickly became the largest manufacturer of hand-flat knitting machines in the region.

From Foundation to Breakthrough

 

In August 2003, Ningbo Yuren Knitting Machinery Co., Ltd.—the predecessor of Cixing—was officially established, marking the beginning of a new stage of development.

 

In 2004, Cixing successfully developed China’s first computerized flat knitting machine, breaking the long-standing monopoly of foreign technologies and ushering the domestic knitting machinery industry into the era of automation.

Expanding Production Capacity

 

In 2008, the computerized knitting machine industrial park located south of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge was completed and put into operation, significantly enhancing production capacity and manufacturing capabilities.

In 2010, the company completed its shareholding reform and was officially renamed Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd.

 

On March 19, 2012, Cixing was successfully listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming a landmark milestone in the company’s development journey.

 

 

Entering the Era of Intelligent Manufacturing

 

From 2023 onward, Cixing has refocused on its core knitting machinery business while accelerating the transformation toward digitalization and intelligent manufacturing.


The company is actively exploring the integration of robotics, artificial intelligence, and smart production technologies to drive the future of the knitting industry.
