“Mo Ting · Chuan Lin” 2026 5E & CV Knitted Fashion Show Successfully Concludes

On February 26, the “Mo Ting · Chuan Lin” 2026 5E & CV Knitted Fashion Show was grandly held at the Cixing (Shanghai) R&D Center. This prestigious event was jointly organized by Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd., the Shanghai Fashion Association, Donghua University Shanghai international fashion innovation center, Zhejiang Yirui Cashmere Products Co., Ltd., Shandong Dexin Cashmere Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Yana Textile Co., Ltd., Shanghai Biconna Fashion Co., Ltd., and other industry leaders.
Bringing together top-tier knitting experts and Shanghai(-style) culture fashion brands from the Yangtze River Delta, this fashion show showcased collaborative innovations across the entire industry chain, from raw material development to garment design. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Zhu Leiming, Vice Chairman of the Qingpu District CPPCC and Director of the Cultural, Historical, and Learning Committee; Chen Yu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Xujing Town; Chen Ge, Vice President of Donghua University; Liu Chunhong, President of the Shanghai Fashion Association and Professor at Donghua University; Wang Ming, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shanghai Times Culture Development Association; and Sun Pingfan, Chairman of Ningbo Cixing Co., Ltd.
Inspired by the renowned Song Dynasty scholar Su Shi’s poem Calming the weaves and the artistic essence of traditional Chinese landscape paintings, the “Mo Ting · Chuan Lin” Fashion Show blended Song Dynasty aesthetics with contemporary Shanghai(-style) culture fashion. Through the fusion of traditional beauty and modern knitting craftsmanship, it explored the artistic philosophy of “distance, elegance, and rhythm,” creating a timeless dialogue between past and present. These exquisite garments are all made using computerized flat knitting machine.
Centered around the collaborative vision of the 5E brand and the Cixing (Shanghai) R&D Center, the show featured five distinctive collections inspired by the “Five Transformations” concept. Each collection harmonized the ethereal essence of ink-wash landscapes with the fluid texture of knitted fabrics, presenting a profound exploration of life’s rhythms and transitions.
As the host venue, the Cixing (Shanghai) R&D Center demonstrated how computerized flat knitting machines and smart knitting technology are reshaping traditional craftsmanship. By leveraging digital design and flexible manufacturing techniques, the center showcased a precise balance between artistic creativity and commercial value. Guests were highly impressed by the innovative integration of computerized flat knitting machines, intelligent manufacturing, and knitting craftsmanship, recognizing its transformative impact on the industry.
