University-Industry Collaboration: Shaping the Future Together

Recently, as a leading enterprise in the Intelligent Sweater Knitting Machine industry, Cixing was invited by the College of Science&Technology Ningbo University to hold a successful recruitment seminar on campus. The event attracted more than 50 students from several colleges such as College of Humanities, College of Information Engineering, College of Management and so on. Leaders of relevant departments and colleges, counsellors were present at the event, which was presided over by the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information Engineering.

At the beginning of the activity, the supervisor of Human Resources Department introduced the development history, corporate culture and job requirements of Cixing in detail for the students present, fully demonstrating Cixing's strength in mastering core technologies and leading the development of the industry in the field of Intelligent Sweater Knitting Machines. The in-depth explanation made the students have a more comprehensive understanding of our company, and also provided them with new perspectives for their future career choices.

Cixing always pays attention to the display of the results of university-industry cooperation, and the speech of the outstanding alumni of the 2024 engineering management major of the Academy became one of the highlights of the event. As an employee who has joined Cixing for nearly a year, he vividly recounted the bits and pieces and harvests of working by sharing his own professional growth experience, which brought practical inspiration and motivation to the schoolmates.

The co-operation between Cixing and its Intelligent Industry College has made new progress this year. We witnessed 5 graduates of the Class of 2025 from the College of Intelligent Industry successfully completed their 4-month internship in Cixing, and 4 of the outstanding students will soon officially sign up to join. During the presentation, two of these four students, representatives from the College of Mechanical Engineering, shared their experiences of internship in Cixing and their insights into the company's culture and technical strengths. Their growth stories not only demonstrated their personal metamorphosis, but also reflected the great importance Cixing attaches to talent cultivation.

Afterwards, the signing ceremony of the 2024 Cixing Intelligent Industry College Employment Agreement was held. The director and R&D manager, the head of Human Resources Department, the secretary and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information Engineering, as well as the assistant to the dean of Intelligent Industry College were present to witness this important moment together with the four signing students.

At the signing ceremony, the graduates formally signed employment agreements with the representatives of the enterprises. These agreements are not only an affirmation of the students' efforts during their internship, but also a brand new starting point for their career. The success of this signing ceremony opens up a deeper level of cooperation between Cixing and the College of Science&Technology Ningbo University in talent cultivation, internship practice and industry-teaching integration.

In the future, we will continue to deepen the school-enterprise cooperation, combining the resource advantages of the enterprise with the academic strength of the university, further exploring the new mode of combining production, learning and research, cultivating more high-quality and practical talents for the society, and injecting energy for the sustainable development of the Intelligent Sweater Knitting Machine industry.
